In just a few short weeks, we’ll be breaking a bottle of Champagne with godmother Claudine Pépin in Barcelona to officially welcome Sirena to the fleet. Sirena’s intimate pierside christening will be followed by special inaugural sail away celebration, and plenty of festive events and receptions.
To honor Sirena’s arrival to the Oceania Cruises fleet, we’re excited to announce Sirena Inaugural Season Exclusives, a collection of events and special offerings only available during Sirena’s 2016 voyages. Sirena’s Inaugural Voyage will be the crowning jewel of the voyages, featuring her official debut during the pierside christening in Barcelona with Godmother Claudine Pépin and other dignitaries.
On board Sirena, you can savor the exquisite flavors of Provence, Burgundy and Normandy without ever leaving the ship. Each afternoon during lunchtime, The Grand Dining Room on board Sirena will offer a surprise transformation into an authentic French bistro – Jacques Bistro. C’est magnifique!
As a cookbook author and the daughter and longtime co-host of legendary Master Chef Jacques Pépin, Claudine Pépin has long been rooted in the culinary world – and the Oceania Cruises family. With Sirena’s christening fast approaching, we are very excited to officially announce that Claudine will serve as godmother to Sirena, welcoming her to the Oceania Cruises fleet on April 27, 2016. We recently sat down for a brief Q&A with Claudine – on cooking, her father, what she’s looking forward to most on board Sirena and more.
Since Oceania Cruises has long been recognized for having the finest cuisine at sea, what better way to honor our newest ship than with some exciting new culinary offerings? As we move closer to welcoming the elegant Sirena to our fleet, set to debut in April 2016, we’re pleased to share a few exciting new details.
