Arboleda Carmenère, Aconagua Valley, Chile
PRODUCTION: The grapes were handpicked and carefully selected, gently crushed and deposited into stainless steel tanks for fermentation at temperatures that fluctuated between 26° and 28°C. Total maceration time varied from 15 to 30 days, and the final blend was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
WINE PROFILE: 100% Carmenère
WINEMAKER’S NOTES: Purplish-red in color, this wine presents tremendous aromatic intensity featuring pronounced notes of forest fruits accompanied by light notes of spice, along with with balsamic notes such as rosemary. The aromas reappear on the palate framed by flavors of dark chocolate and mocha. This is a silky and fruity wine with moderate body and a persistent finish due to its fresh acidity.
